This year’s Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association( USSSA ) Rwenzori region games are hosted at St Mary’s Simbya SS. The school is just a kilometer from Nyahuka TC.
On the other hand, Christ School Bundibugyo is located in the heart of Nyahuka Tc. Meanwhile Haven high School is just less than a Kilometer from the mentioned Town. Likewise, Semuliki High borders Bundibugyo Town Council.
In addition, teams that participated came from Fort Portal Tourism city, Kabarole District, Kasese Municipality/District. From Kamwenge, from Ntoroko, Kyegegwa and then Bunyangabo District.
The USSSA Regional games will take place from April 13th to April 15th 2023.

- St Joseph’s vs West Ville FT 0:3 West Ville qualifies
- Christ School vs Divine Mercy FT 1:3 Divine Mercy qualifies
Quarter Finals Girls at Christ School
These games took place on 14/04/2023
- Peas Kicwamba vs Nyakigumba FT 0:0 PEAS qualifies through penalties 6:5
- Christ Sch vs Rwenzori High FT 4:1 Christ Sch qualifies
- King of Kings vs Kibiito SS FT 9:0 King of King qualifies
- Haven High vs Kasese SS FT 6:1 Haven High qualifies
All of a sudden the teams that have remained in the semifinals all come from Bundibugyo District and Fort Portal City/Kabarole District. Another key point is that three come from the former and five come from the latter.
The games will be played at the Hosting School St. Mary’s Simbya SS and at Christ School Bundibugyo too.
Certainly, a number of these teams will represent the region to the Nationals.

Fort Portal SS, West Ville and St. Mary’s Simbya SS has also qualified for the Nationals.
Finally, the awarding ceremony will take place in the early evening of 15/04/2023 at Simbya.
Besides that, as a matter of fact, a number of Schools have already packed their bags. Because they have been eliminated, the unfairness of the game as only one team wins.
